These words of Pope Francis underscore the importance of adult faith formation. If we are to share the faith, we must know the faith. The Lay Theology Institute, informally known as Mercy U., is an answer to that call. The collaboration between Our Lady of Mercy Church and the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception brings higher level theology to the parish, so that lay men and women can grow in the knowledge and the love of Jesus in order to call others to know and love Him.
